Grade Level: Children from Kindergarten through Grade 6
Sessions: Grades K thru 4 :
Sunday mornings 10:30-11:45 & 11:45-12:45 (September - May);
Grades 5 & 6 : Wednesday evening 7:00-8:15pm
Mass Schedule: Children and their families are expected to attend Sunday Mass. There are five Masses on the weekend. Three Masses are in English and two in Spanish. Children attending the 10:30 CCD session cannot attend a full Mass at 11:00am

Saturday 4:30pm (English), 6:30pm (Spanish); Sunday 9:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm (Spanish)

Registration: Families must be registered with the parish prior to enrollment in the religious education program. Parish registration is conducted in the Parish Office during the weekdays. Registration for elementary religious education is held in April and August in the religious education office in the Parish Life Center. See the bulletin for specific dates and times for registration.
Sacraments: Sacramental preparation for children preparing for Reconciliation and First Communion are family programs held in the evenings. These sessions are for both the parent and the child. Classes begin in November and parents must register their children in August.

Reconciliation: 4 parent-child sessions in the fall
Communion: 4 parent-child sessions in the spring
Baptism: Fall and spring sessions for both parent and child on Friday evenings

RCIA: Children (Rite of Christian Initiation) who have never been baptized attend the RCIA sessions on Friday evenings as well as their regular CCD classes. Classes begin in November and parents must register their children in August.
Parent participation: Parents are asked to participate in this volunteer led program. We have dedicated volunteers who serve our children and we welcome you to join our staff. Contact the Religious Education office or call Charles Gappa 817-294-1013.
Curriculum: All grades use the Wm. Sadlier "We Believe" Series. Children need to have a bible for grade 2 and above. We recommend the New American Bible. Paperback versions can be purchased at the CCD office.
Bible Studies: Parents are encouraged to attend one of the adult bible studies during the week. See the bulletin for times. There is a Scripture study class during CCD for adults.
Space Limitation: We are limited to 25 children per class. If no class is available, materials will be provided for the families for home instruction.
