Several locations have reported receiving text messages from “Rev. Michael F. Olson” asking for help or money.  We are not aware of how the numbers have been gathered, but please know that these are fake/phishing text messages. 

As the targets are staff as well as parishioners, we would encourage each location to announce either through an electronic communication tool (e.g. FlockNote) or through an announcement on the website that these are not official texts messages or requests from the Bishop.
